Venice/Roberston Station Funding Approved
In February, the State of California Department of Transportation approved funding for the design and construction of the Venice/Robertson aerial station and structure.
In April, the Metro Board adopted the Venice/Robertson aerial station and structure as part of the Expo Phase 1 project. The Board also increased the project budget by $54 million to a new project budget of $862.3 million.

The Expo Line says good-bye to one Board Director and welcome to another.
At the May 1 Expo Board Meeting, Chair Jan Perry welcomed new member, Culver City Mayor Scott Malsin to the Expo Board of Directors. Mayor Malsin replaces former Culver City Mayor Alan Corlin as the Director representing Culver City. New Culver City councilmember Michael O'Leary has been selected as Alternate Director for Mayor Malsin.
CONSTRUCTION NEWS:
During construction of the Expo Light Rail Line it is important for safety reasons to secure the right-of-way (ROW) along Exposition Boulevard. Securing the ROW by installing K-Rail allows the contractor, FCI/Flour/Parsons (FFP), to prepare the ROW for utility relocation and improvements from Vermont Avenue to 7th Avenue.
